FYI, my car has been built in Torsland, as its a standard ( Mild ) version. From what im understanding ALL PHEV's are made in China.
Im hoping the its only 24/36 hours to cross the North Sea from the port of Gothenburg, Thats if the boat is going DIRECT, I have heard that some go via Gent!

But IF my car is on a Direct boat, One docked at the terminal on the Hull @ 10PM Saturday and a new ship is leaving today / tomorrow.
So does any one have any ideas how long it might take from offloading the boat to being delivered to the dealers?

Cheers

In normal times, 48 hours. I would probably double that time at the moment as nothing seems to be going smoothly.

Got a call today from the dealer: the car will arrive with them on Thursday so probably ready to collect on Monday! Great news, I’ve been waiting since mid June. Not too bad, considering.

Did they give any indication when it was built? it would be good to be able to work out transit times.

I spoke to them a week ago and the only information then was that it had missed its build date of end of September, so I guess it was actually built last week. They got a consignment order yesterday telling them when it had arrived in the UK, which is when they can start registering it.

Exclamation Finally got it!

I received my car on Saturday after a 4 month wait. It drives lovely but there are some software issues.
1. Google assistant is very temperamental. When it works, it is slow but most of the time it doesn't work at all, even though I can see it is listening. The internet connection seems to be causing a problem.
2. I can not get maps up on the driver display only on the main display.
3. I can not get the clock up on the display

Spoke to dealer and it needs to go to the workshop to be investigated. Hopefully its just a matter of resetting something but lets see. Very disappointing for a brand new car! Has anyone else had any problems with software?

So the old 'slow boat to China' has morphed into a 'slow boat from China'.

That's progress.

At least it is within touching distance at last.

Hi all!,
Well , had a message from my dealer on Wednesday that it should be with them either Thurs or Fri this week, I have arranged to collect on next Wed.
Mine was built W/C 04/10 and shipped direct to the Uk aboard a Ro-Ro ship.

Cheers

Hi all. Update to say there’s no update really. It had been two weeks since we heard anything so emailed the dealer yesterday as I’m very keen to know if there’s any build update and if we’ll be getting the new 18.8kwh battery. Unfortunately no new info. I’m keen to know as the larger battery is preferable and have seen some orders getting it. Also, do I need to cancel and re-order and what will be involved in doing that. Will post if I get any updates 😊
