Default Xc 40 headlight adjust

I have 2024 xc40 and wondered if you can adjust the headlight aim manually?
I feel sometimes it is a bit high and blinding oncoming cars.

firstly I would visit your local friendly MOT centre they should be able to check it and adjust whilst there correctly if needed.. you will never get it correct yourself ..

What I had in my previous car was a switch that you could turn to adjust the head light aim.
I just wondered if my new car had this facility either manual or electronic.

Hiya,

As they're LED there isn't a manual dial to turn, as it has little levelling arms attached to the suspension front and rear, which adjusts it on the fly for you.

However there is manual adjustment on the lamps.

Open the bonnet and there should be some little Allen ball pieces or a slot for an Allen key to go into for manual adjustment. Should be 2 for each lamp.

Would need it on a beam pattern checker to get it right.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick reply, very precise as well..

I think I will leave well alone as they say. It doesn't seem too bad and I have not had any flashes from oncoming cars so far although it's only now that I am driving it in the dark.
