Anyone got a Header tank for a 2.3lpt 940 1998 est that they wish to sell, mine has decided to spring a leak, thanks

Just get a new one as another old one will leak as well. The metal sleeve corrodes and makes the plastic pipe brittle.

No point in replacing a 25 year old plus tank with another one of the same age

They are about £30 new

my second hand one lasted ten years plus.I only changed it because the warning light magnet gave up,not because of the corroded pipe underneath.

However,the brand new clean on looka a whole lot better.

This is what happened to the header tank on my 940

It was a good looking seconhand one that I cleaned up and fitted

Not worth it for the sake of £30

Its not low mileage now, its north of 270.000 if the speedo worked all the time
