Weirdly, there doesn't seem to be any history of that number plate when you search for tax or MOT 🤔
Yeah I've looked underneath and it's definitely still there. It's booked into a specialist at the end of the month for a full check and they'll remove the prop for me at the same time. We'll see what the diagnosis is when the garage looks at it! I don't mind running it round in FWD for a while until I can sort it out.

I've already put my private plate on it so that would explain why you don't see anything!

Hi,

I suspect your central bearing on the propshaft has gone.
There is a decent prop shaft repair company near Larbert if you find you need one. They can either repair your prop or replace it.
I did not enjoy mine running at FWD, to be honest.

Hope the issue is nothing more complex / costly than that and indeed that ot might even be easier!

Nice car you have! Enjoy it.

Thanks - is that Propshaft Services near Bonnybridge? That's one place I had eye on after reading a recommendation elsewhere on this forum.

My wife and I are both in the same boat, wife’s car was hit on a friends drive by their daughter whilst my wife was sat in their house having a cup of tea, neighbour reversed out of his drive into my parked car, still impacts out premiums and because we run a small holding and I have more than one car we have 7 motor policies between us (starting with a tractor..) at least half have been impacted.

Yep, that was the place I used.
They were decent.

I hope you get it all sorted.
