Well, finally got it home at last. Now all I need is to put it back together! I'm very happy with the finish.

Tryed fitting the towbar this morn'. The bolts supplied are the wrong thread. Will need to wait untill Tuesday to try to find replacements or borrow a tap and thread to correct size.

Looking doubtfull for the 144. head gasket blowing and I'm not sure that I can get it sorted in time. It all depends on how quickly parcel farce can get the replacement to me. Lucky that i have had a plan B with the 940!

Well the 144 is almost sorted. Well enough to make the trip. Had towbar fitted and car passed inspection. I need a new presure cap for the water expansion bottle as it's losing a bit of pressure but not enough to stop me going Ordering a new one to pick up in UK. Will try to post a pic' as soon as I have time.
