unless he was worried if he had enough oil in the peril to get there, then id say it was broke.

It is always good to see and hear about like minded people enjoy driving their car on track or down a strip. It is good to know how your car will handle and brake at speed, it is also great to know how all those modifications on your car will cope with the stress of motor sport.

Driving your car under motor sport conditions will always expose any weakness in your car and will exposes any performance upgrade weakness. I amongst others have talked about 64 foot times and their purpose, enjoying time out on track only to have suggested by some that its not important and having fun is more important. This is only partialy true, whilst having fun is all part of the adventure other factors must and do come into play.

We all spend money getting our car where we want wither it is to look good or transform it into a more performance orintatied vehicle or even both. Taking a car down a strip or on track tests those upgrades so it is important to measure how they perform, it is not cheap to modify a car so it is only right to know how much bang you get for your bucks. Some may say it is not so important having fun is the name of the game, for me this does not make sense. By the time you spend hard earned money on a remap, suspension and brake upgrades and then say the performance of your car is not important is the measure of an idiot or some one trying to hide something.

I had a comment about driving an auto and their is no skill involved getting the car of the line, this left a bitter taste in my mouth as I have a back problem and driving a manual with out support would give me problems on track. 64 foot times is a measure of how well your car will accelerate, wither you spend a few hundred or sevral thousand you need to know how well your money has worked and if the performance upgrades you have had fitted by a specialst are actually worth the money you have spent. Can you imagine spending thousands on your car then not care how good or bad the car performs?
