Default B30 interchangability

Does anyone here know of list or chart of the parts that are common to B18/20 and the B30? I remember seeing it discussed in the past. Since the B30 is often described as a B20 with two extra cylinders, it seems obvious that some parts would interchange, but what seems obvious isn't always necessarily true. Perhaps someone in one of the Volvo clubs has compiled such a list, but I haven't been able to find it online.

It will be tedious and you will need patience but you could cross check the relevant pats in the B20 and B30 parts lists. For things like pistons and bearings you could look at the VP parts listings.

You're right. I think it would have to be on a piece by piece basis, as required. I was just hoping someone out there had already done the heavy lifting. One of the Land Rover clubs over here has made up a full list of interchanges, so it comes in handy when dealing with the little kids behind the parts counter.
