Default 13 plate V40 SE D2

DAB radio was an extra on MY13 UK SE model, standard on MY14 UK SE model.
Sensus and BLIS are both extras on MY13 and MY14 UK SE models.

I think keyless start is standard MY13 SE but not on MY14 models and voice dial is only available on NAV models.

Can anyone clarify if they should be on the vehicle?

Brochure says all V40 have Dab mine does not
All models have blind spot info system but mine has not

Are these features standard on a 13 plate SE?

Thanks
DAB is standard on 2014 models which have been around for a few months now , i guess you have an old 2013 model . You have been reading a 2014 brochure whilst havinga 2013 car .. were you aware that you were not getting a current specification car? Maybe you ordered it before around June ?

Is that because it has stations you want to listen to which are not on FM or you think quality may be better? Sound quality is no different to FM and FM has better coverage , looking on the bright side !

The bonus for DAB is not over FM but MW. I have DAB and listen to a lot of sport on my radio, 5Live, Talksport or Test Match Special. They are infinitely better on DAB and having had DAB in my car I would not want to go back. It is like going back to a standard car heating system after having had air con / climate control.

You are quite right about the sound for FM being equivalent to DAB though. It is a shame they could not squeeze everything onto FM but I suspect that would be a whole new thread.
