ETM Issues Discuss issues regarding the problems with ETMs fitted to Volvo cars.

Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Smile Replaced Throttle Bodie and Position sensor but still probs?

Please help!! Lol

Just replaced with New throttle bodie and position sensor yet stil got problems. Ie management flashing,NO power,Cutting out and hesitating to start? Im pulling my hair out after 3 weeks of trying. Also clicking noise from relay sometimes when ignition on? Could it be MAF? Please help guys. Much help realy apreciated!!

Engine management light flashing denotes unburnt fuel getting through the cat which could be down to a number of issues, I would start by getting the car scanned for diagnostic trouble codes, write them all down and post them back up on the forum - A scatter gun approach to diagnosis on one of these cars without fault codes could get rather costly on the pocket - Mike
