Default Magneti Marelli ETM

Help needed.

I have recently purchased a 2003 Volvo V70 2.4 petrol. It requires a replacement ETM as the fitted one is damaged. However the one fitted is a Magneti Marelli AH0013536C 8644345(part number) 65CFM9 and I am unable to find a 2nd hand replacement with those exact numbers. I have found one that states it is for the same car but the numbers are different (part number 8644344 65cfm-9) and I wonder if it will work of with my car?

Any advice much appreciated

Regards

Guy

£110 for a repair to your existing unit with 2 year warranty. Highly recommended aswell.

If you install another unit it has to programmed to you car otherwise it'll go into limp mode.
Repair you old one and it can be put back on with no problems what so ever

is your car a 2002 model but registered in 2003? if this is the case it will probably work but you may need a software download as it sounds like your car is on the changeover.

The other option is to send yours away to get contactless contact installed, either contact spotznik on here or contact BBA Remain

Vida will show you how old your car actually is, not when it was registered.

I've just noticed your part numbers are exactly the same as mine, which is also not working. My car is a 2001 2.4 N/a 140hp Torslanda B5244S2. Just posting this for reference.

Send it off for repair and see if it is fixable. I wouldn't put a 2nd hand one in as it would be a bit like Russian roulette or New one on ebay if you what to spend more!
