Hi folks can anyone help me please I have a Volvo v40 se lux and recently had the osf . Coil spring replaced since then the spring is creaking when I move the steering wheel very odd hope someone knows of my wee issue cheers . 👍

always replace springs in pairs. take it back to who fitted the replacement part

If you now have a creaking spring , make sure it is sat correctly in its seats & that the strut top mounting is not damaged or beginning to seize up . See this issue daily when MOT testing .

Dirt tends to get into the bearing when the mount is removed to replace spring without you realizing , fallen for that little gem ! . I have taken to changing mounts along with springs to eliminate this issue

It's been said...

- Always change springs in axle pairs

- The creaking won't be the spring, it will be something to do with reassembling the strut after it's been disturbed.

Take it back....
