Guys,

Being bored and stumbling around I've come across this ETM section.

Can someone shed some light on which models are actually affected by this - I've heard that its just the Petrol derivatives of the S60/V70/S70/C70 between 1999 (ish) and 2002 - Diesels and 2003+ models are not affected as they have Bosch?

Makes for interesting reading, especially in the various replies and recalls that Volvo have issued.

Yep..that's pretty much my understanding too.!..the "dates" are always a bit "ish"..mine for instance was one of the first to have the M/Marelli ETM..and it was registered in late 1998.!! ('99 MY)...and strangely is STILL going ok 14 years and 105k miles later.! (I know I'll regret saying that..LOL)
