Default Screech

Hi 2005MY V70

2.5 petrol 2WD

I've noticed a screeching that send to be coming from the rear drivers side when turning right... Though more when a hard right

Obviously I'll look...but any ideas up front? The pads seem ok

I had a brief look at the front wheels just in case...no apparent issues....

Thanks

well i cant see what it would be on the rear other than warped stone guard.

if its the front it could be bump stops

Hi

The discs looked ok... obviously that's the outboard face not the inboard one so not sure why I even said it!!

Six months ago I rebuild the front suspension....control arms, bottom ball joints, track rod ends, a new drive shaft one side and new cvj's the other, drop links.... And six months earlier to that I'd done front discs and pads

The bump stops I took off the old arms and put on the new arms put some LM or copper grease can't remember which now and promptly forgot about them....now this noise

May I ask why or how they potentially could make a noise on lock?

Oh and I also replaced the steering fluid with the green stuff when I did the suspension...who knows if the original fluid was correct just couldn't tell any more... As of today the level hasn't moved a bit

When youre on full lock the stops rub and make the wheel kick a bit. Like a skidding motion.
