You must allow the BMS (battery management system) to know what is happening. So use the front connection points.

Brilliant charger. It takes my battery from 30% to 78 % then report a green light at the number 7. Is there any way to charge the battery higher?
I think I will have to activate the conditioning during the next charging.

Once the unit has reached step 7 and brought the green light on, the main battery charge/conditioning cycle has mainly completed and you should be good to remove the charger (look at the graph lines indicated below each step number on the charger to give you an idea of what the unit is doing to desulphate/condition the battery during that step. Step 8 is really only a long term storage cycle to ensure the battery still goes through a discharge/recharge cycle when connected to the charger long term as this will increase the batteries life rather than just holding a constant charge on it for a long period. Unless you keep the unit attached for weeks, you will not activate step 8.

I am saying that charged only 78% as I checked this with the diagnostic tool I have attached a screenshot. I am curious how can I charge my battery to more %.

This is why conditioning from the very beginning of the batteries life is important as it will prolong its life considerably but its not a miracle cure that will make an ailing battery good as new, it will only prolong its inevitable failure.

Yes, you are right this battery is from the very beginning of this car. Will it help if I turn on charger conditioning? Only one benefit from this low stage of charge. The start-stop system is only activated if SOC is higher than 73%🤣

It wont hurt to try the conditioning out and see if it does (over time) help bring back the base charge of the battery.

As sk546 said, these SPA Volvo’s (Especially those running AAOS) can put a lot more demand on the tiny 10Ah 12v support battery, with all the possible background loads that the 12v LV circuit may still have to support while the car is switched off and locked.
This is why Volvo states in the user manual that the car should be driven - not just run (they can check this in the system) for at least 15min, each week or connected to a trickle charger. I assume to allow the 48v HV circuit – through the DC-DC converter, to recharge the 12v battery.

Looks like my battery is as you told me. I had 3h drive in total today and the battery SOC hasn't gone over 79%.
Thank you guys. ❤️
