But if you didn't attach the Polestar badge... how would they know?

Isn't there a 'delete post' function on this forum?

xc70 satnaw
Hi guys.
I just bought my first Volvo. It's a 2010 XC70 D5 AWD 2.4 I took it to the Volvo service today to update the satnav software but the guy said that it's too old to update it with a disc because the Volvo stopped to make it,and if they update it with a software then it may can damage the module, then needs to change it what costs me about £700-800 . The question is how can I update the satnaw or just easier to put a phone holder on the windscreen? |

I use my phone for sat nav. Routes are updated automatically as the phone does updates, so its a no brainer. No way I’d spend £700-£800 so I could use the built in sat nav.

https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support/downloads/maps offers several links depending on which variant you have.

Yeah this what i'll do. I told them that it is absolutely unacceptable because this car still will be on the road after 10 years, this is a Volvo XC70 not a Nissan Micra, and I asked what the Volvo was thinking when they made this decision? I will run to to buy an other Volvo for 40,000 because the council made a new roundabout somewhere? Obviously they didn't know the answer.

I don’t know why they stopped the updates either… makes no sense for a brand that thrives off longevity.

Well I must have had the 2011 Sensus system where there is a download.
Not sure if you have the last update that was available for your car installed, but if not you may be able to find a set of used discs somewhere, that someone may lend/sell you? (Don't tell me they were vehicle-specific!)
