im looking for a 740 or 940, 2.3 turbo and manual, needs to be cheap as possible as its only needed for a month or two

Sensible request, good car the 740 Turbo - but I am biased!
What do you mean by "cheap as possible"? We all want everything as cheap as possible - have you a maximum budget, that may help prospective sellers a bit more perhaps.... Including me.

The OP clearly needs a car for something specific (not revealed), so the OP would be best rewarded by trawling a certain auction site or the likes of Preloved...for a suitable 940, plenty around and low prices.

I certainly don't use the criteria"cheap as possible"for anything, my ethos would best be described as best value for money.

Cheap cars often end up being not cheap.
