Default XC90 driver's seat heater not working

Seat heater has not been working for a few weeks now, I assumed it would just be a blown fuse, but when I got round to checking it yesterday, both seat heater fuses were in identical, reasonable condition (slight discolouration of the metal connectors). The passenger side works fine.

Any suggestions for possible causes that I could look into, before I book it into the dealer for a £75/h investigation? Hopefully it would be covered by warranty anyway, as there's no damage or misuse, but I never like to presume it'll be covered.

What year is the vehicle?
It's likely to be the heater pad in the seat that has failed. I had mine replaced 6 months ago at the Dealer under extended warranty (Volvo). The cost is around £1250 if not covered because the approved repair is to replace the seat base upholstery, not just the heater element.

Check the plug connections under the drivers seat.

Hi
Mine failed too on a 2016 XC90 just after 3 year. So, out of warranty but cost me more around £500 to replace the pad and seat element in 2019.

Cheers, I'll get in touch with the dealer as I have the Volvo warranty so hopefully it should be covered.

I'll have a look at the connectors under the seat beforehand though - no sense booking it in if it could just be a loose clip.

Thanks all.
