Ticking Noise-Passenger side

Ticking noise coming from under washer fluid reservoir. Stops after a while. Restarts if I open a door. Has been happening for at least a week. Doesn't seem to discharge the battery.

does the alarm module work? i wondered that first because a) you mentioned the doors and b) the siren module is right on that corner up in the wheel arch
