240 Estate wanted
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a VERY good condition 240 Estate - It must have the 2.3 engine, and need little (or no) work in the near future, Must be low mileage, and generally in excellent condition. I would prefer a GLE or GLT - Though I have to say that I don't really like the leather interior on the GLT. I'm not interested in anything that has rust/rot in the normal places! I'll leave those for someone who has the time and facilities to sort out, I don't! My current budget is around £2000, but I would stretch to £3000 for a really good example! I have a motability car until October, so I'm in no rush to buy the first thing that's offered, but I would buy now if something special was available..... Regards Eddy |

Had a couple of cars offered, but none were what I was looking for, so if anyone is thinking of selling, or knows of a really good example in my budget, please get in touch!
Please remember it must be a 2.3 engine, Estate, GLE or GLT spec, and needing little or no work. Thanks Eddy |

If you get a leather interior with rear headrests, you could always swop for my black cloth interior! Seat heaters must work though. It may, logistically be a challenge tho' lol

But I'd like to keep any car exactly as it left the factory, even though I don't really like the leather interior on the GLT's. Why is it that now I've started to look seriously for a good car they seem few and far between right now? There seemed to be loads a few months back.... Regards Eddy |

Just be patient. There are good ones around, and it's better to wait for the right car to come up. John |

As we're now into a new month, I thought I'd post a quick reminder that I'm still looking for a really good 240 GLT Estate.
Top price paid (as stated in my original post), for the right car. Regards Eddy |

At the price, I doubt it's the car I'm really looking for, but I've emailed the seller and we'll see what he says.... Have to admit I'd prefer a manual rather than an auto though! Regards Eddy |
