Default Volvo sevice promise

Just looking at the volvo service promise with free software upgrades and 12 month roadside assistance and i've got a few questions for anyone in the know.
My cars a 2004 xc90 D5,it hasn't been near a dealership for a service in 4 years(it's only trip was to get the splined sleeve done 18 months ago),I've serviced the car myself religiously, will this affect either of the 2 aspects of the service. IE,will i still be offered the roadside assistance and software upgrades and what will i expect to pay for a service,my current mileage is 104k and does anyone know if it's a limited time offer or will it run for a while?
Also will my handbrake adjustment be part of the service as that needs doing as well since i had new shoes fitted last year?
Many thanks in advance.

All you have to do is present your car for the car's required service to get the full service promise package , have you had your cambelt changed yet? there is no time limit for this package either . Handbrake adjustment is part of any proper volvo service .
"check parking brake condition and adjust if necessary" is the wording on the check sheet .
