Cool Rear 12V socket not working.

Found that rear 12v socket was not working, new purchase so unsure if ever worked. Removed rear socket and checked using volt meter (yellow/violet wire and black wire , no voltage detected. Its a 06 XC90 D5 Exec , with fridge in armrest. First thought socket had something to do with the having the fridge switched on, but makes no difference.
Removed top cover of centre console and could see, what I thought was the other end of the yellow/violet wire what looks like its connnected to front of the fridge. Measured and there is 12vdc on this wire. Tried to trace wire under the fridge and it feels like a connector on its way to the rear 12v socket.
Cant investigate further without removing the arm rest/fridge. Anyone got instruction on how to remove this fridge or complete centre console to get access to this connector. Or anyone got an suggestions on the fault? Wiring schematic may also be usefull. Thanks in advance.

Check the fuse. It is in the left hand side of the rear cargo section behind panel. Fuse No 8 in my book. I had this blow twice on me when connecting defective tyre inflator.

as frank says fuse will be in boot compartment.there are so many circuits on a modern 4x4 that they can have as many as 4 fuse boxes covering different area,s of the vehicle.no need to go a long way from the faulty item or to start to dismantle the car.

Thanks for the replys, sorry for the confusion but the rear socket I,m talking about is the one 2nd row passengers and not not the one in the cargo area. The manual says the fuse for this is fuse 11 (tested OK) in the compartment above the pedals. This same fuse also feeds the front row 12V socket under the radio and this is working. Its definitely sonething amis under the fridge area.
