The ARB wasn't intentionally blue, i picked up a can of blue with the wrong colour lid on!!

As it's the facelift estate Mark, it's a live axle like the 940. I believe (but not 100% certain due to conflicting reports) the only estates that had IRS were the Mk2 960, all others had the live axle. If anyone can verify or otherwise on that it would be good. For the saloons, the 760 facelift and all 960 saloons had IRS as far as i've ever known.

Pre-facelift 760 saloons had the live axle (like Lukes 760 Turbo), facelift 760 saloons (~1988 on) had the IRS.

As I said, with what I've done to mine ( entire front end suspension and all bushes with chassis brace and rear shocks, springs etc it's now miles better than it was
Ill guess i will have to get ours done and see

Polybush it and stick some GAZ GT dampers on it and then tell me it doesn't handle like an MX5

When new they did handle very well to be fair.

Replacing the bushes with poly bushes and fitted in combination with stiffer springs and good dampers really does transform them. Stiffer anti roll bars is more of a final refinement.

The down side is ride comfort compared to a modern car, the change to the IRS does make a big improvement in that respect.
