i agree, i think it will be up to the m25 by 2030, but first it will cover all london boroughs. there are ANPR cameras everywhere now so they could do it whenever.

Not so sure about it expanding to M25 because in the process it would be swallowing up a number of towns that are not even parts of London, for example Rickmansworth, Watford, Radlett. Also villages such as Maple Cross. There is are a lot of these within the Northern M25 area.

Ok...BMW 530d E61 manual . On average I could do a whole week driving around north london on £38 diesel .Or on long runs 530 miles to a tank .

Volvo 2.4 Has used £45 worth of fuel in 5 days . Ok, NO ULEZ charge but its still madness

Doesn't matter, it's the future, embrace it.

M25 is an obvious and permanent ring around London. Any specific area must have a visible boundary. The original congestion zone is a perfect example of how not to do it!

Future..... They van make as many electric cars as possible but where will people charge them if they live on streets you can never park on etc due to so many residents as homes became flats etc. Its going to be real messy for years . people sat at charging stations for 2 hours etc . Thats all we need to be doing !

Once folks have got softened up and used to the idea, the ULEZ area will encompass the whole country and non compliant vehicles will only be allowed on the roads on the third Sunday of any month without an 'R' in its name.
