Default XC60 GPS antenna

Has anyone changed the GPS antenna (shark fin)?? My GPS is taking a walk about and has placed me 60 miles away, tried all the usual IT specialist advice, switch off leave overnight, disconnect battery etc.

Just wondering where does the antenna run, I have traced it down the OS rear quarter roof panel then under the boot, but can’t see a termination point yet, hopefully I don’t need to strip out a lot of the interior?

Any help or link to previous feeds would be much appreciated

Cheers

Tis a bit of a b**l-ache.
Have replaced the shark fin seal which involves removing the antennae to pass the cable through, so its much the same task.

Need to cut the seal (make sure you have a replacement to hand ) with fishing line - take care not to damage your paint.

Then need to get to the base of the antenna to disconnect cables.
Remove the three pieces of trim round the rear tailgate opening an also the trim pieces round the rear quarter windows
Probably have to release the large pieces below the windows as wel thought not remove.

Take out the trim pieces the coat hooks above the rear doors and the sockets for the load guard -

Get access into the interior light - that also holds the roof lining

That releases enough of the roof lining to get hand up from the tailgate to the antenna to unclip 2 coax cables .

The antenna will then come away .

Then put it all back with new antenna and new seal .........
or buy a Tom Tom
