There is a choice of music on the Wing but I know what you mean to some extent.
I've always thought that motorcycling is about more than just speed.

:-) ... a bike certainly but not a Gold Wing. Perhaps a 2006 Triumph twin (the last year before fuel injection).

Any of the above but I'd take the first exit from the Autobahn, the only motorway I can think of worth the drive is the M62 from Leeds to Manchester for the scenery, otherwise regardless of speed they're boring.

FSO polonez.

For one thing, it may take me few days to complete the trip, if I include repairs on the go.

On the other . After these few days I will absolutely hate that car, driving that car, fixing that car.. it wil be easier to part with driving..

LOL I'd have to say the FSO Polonez I had for a few weeks as a courtesy car wasn't that bad, even slightly impressed me, but I can't think of any car I've driven that would make me want to give up driving, even the Relianr Robin had a certain charm. The Ford Transit van and Cargo truck on the other hand may well have forced me to give up due to disability, the two most uncomfortable vehicles ever!

I vote 'none of the above', as it means very little to me what type of engine powers my car. I've driven great cars that were petrol, diesel, turbo and normally aspirated, I've also driven cars with these same engine types where I couldn't wait to give the keys back. The driving experience is a lot more than just what is under the bonnet.

If I ever have to go for my last drive, it'll be in a car that I know and love, probably something that I've owned for many years and it will be more of a sentimental journey with an old friend, than a mindless quick blast down a boring motorway.

Interesting to see forced induction taking the lead.

More people need to vote.

Just sit in an armchair with a desk fan pointed at your face and you'll never know the difference.
