If you want dish get some ocean mk18s.

The Hydra alloys also look really good but again fetch silly money.
You dissin my Galaxies Bro ?

Doing some research at the moment, and seems like there is lots of options out there.
You mean the track extender spacers at the rear? They were fitted to the RB when I bought it, so I can't help with the source or cost of mine, but I've just found this set for sale on the internet that appear to be much the same:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wheel-spa...AaAn6kEALw_wcB

... I don't know whether you were thinking of a 240 or a 940 - my guess is that the rear axles are pretty similar. On the 244 the rear track is about 2" narrower than the front, so it is quite a neat thing to make them the same.

Cheers. Mine a 740 but the rears tuck in quite a bit and wanted to bring them out a little.

In that case I think spacers would work perfectly, and would be quite a cheap solution. Here is the rear of the RB with the Virgo wheels fitted, I think it makes the wheel fit the arch much better:

... these are the 20mm spacers:

Probably not a good idea on your 740 Chris, that's a 1" concentric spacer so would push your wheels out too far and the tyres would scuff on the arches - there'a lot of suspension travel on the back of a 7xx!

Like Alan pointed out, the RB/240 series the rear axle is narrower by ~2" than the 7/9xx axle, there's a lot of space in the 240 rear arches but not quite as much on the 7/9xx - you could try the spacers but in all honesty, i think you'd end up not using them.

This might be a silly question, 'L.S.', and totally impractical, but, looking at the picture of Alan's spacers, could a competent machine shop reduce the thickness to a more appropriate size? If that could be accomplished, it might just allow 'Challo' to achieve the look that he is seeking without the danger of fouling his bodywork.

Regards, John.

You have 3 choices....
1. Replace your steelies with genuine Volvo RWD alloys such as the Aurega in the second post or the Galaxy's. or the standard 15 inch alloys off a standard LPT 940....
2, buy any of the FWD Volvo alloys in a 15 or 16 inch and use 20mm hubcentric spacers to reach correct fitment
3. do what i did and buy an aftermarket set of 17 inch alloys, The ones in the pic are Lenso Eagle 2 ET35 with a 20mm spacer

I really really like those - and seeing as your car is the same colour as mine I can see how they look already

Thank you for the details.
