Default For Sale:S60 D5 (163) 2005 SE Facelift E3 remapped to 200bhp

Reposting due to typo error in original post and to add more details.

After six years of ownership the time has come to sell my S60.

It’s the face lift version with Euro 3 engine, 2.4 Diesel D5 Auto SE. Grey / metallic silver with black leather interior. Only mods are the remap, replacement head unit and changed the dash cup holder for a cubby hole.

140k miles (64k when I brought it). Remapped at 70k to give 212bhp, up from 163. Runs smoother and quieter, slightly better mpg. Remap chart is here, stage 1 on here.

Full-service history, majority done by main dealer or independent specialist. Mot & service due in January 2022. Cam belt done at 64k which is early, done as part of purchase deal. Next belt due at 160k.

After market radio headset with Bluetooth and handsfree phone via mobile, original unit stated to fail.

Removable towbar fitted with Volvo module and 14 pin wiring loom. Done less than 1,000 towing miles.

Mot history is attached, plenty of paper work etc + both keys.

Good condition.

£1,800 ono

Hi Phil, does it still retain all the speakers or do you lose the centre speaker? Any more details on the head unit please? Car would be for a commute and decent sound system is probably highest on my priority list. Thanks

Centre speaker is retained. Hard to do a direct comparison with the original (hu850), replacement has more features and styling matches the dash. Original had better sound IMHO.

I used to do a combination of long or weekly commutes and tended to blue tooth to phone as a dab receiver. Has usb and SD card reader as well as analogue radio. It is a Blue Power head unit.

Thanks for the detailed reply. If my search for something with Dynaudio doesn't turn up anything I may be in touch but to be honest my preference would be for a car with the CD changer.

Either way good luck, sounds like a cracking car

it depends on the source material anyway, some songs sound worse on the pro logic than with it disabled - it's more consistent with it off esp with the 300w amp

I'll give that a go. Source material is MP3 from CDs.

Generally I listen to MP3's ripped at 320kbps from CD's. Very interested in how it sounds with that format. Looks like a nice car.

I've check the sd card and the mp3s'' are at 320kbps. Had a listen on a drive to work and they sound good to me.
