I'm all for advancing technology in some areas but for me, there is nothing quite like seeing the oil level with your own eyes rather than trusting an electronic reading and as moomoo says, oil is rather important lol

Having said that the missus has an old MK2 Golf GTI which is a pain when checking the oil as the dipstick doesn't seem to fit very well, really hard to get back in! said my missus never......

If you market it as "police spec" or similar and create a story that some police force insisted on it being there or they wouldn't buy the cars anymore you can justify a higher price.......
