The LESJÖFORS are the OEM spec and really have the car driving/handling well; the rear is significantly lifted from when I bought it, there's no steering indecisive wandering or tramlining - but then it has still only got 41K miles on it from new!
I think a lot of companies are peddling coupe sized springs as suitable for the cabriolet but they're not. Reise mentioning the size of his factory coupe springs solved the mystery behind the KYB springs. The only correct sized springs I've found so far for the cabriolet are Suplex rear springs at 430mm. I'll give LESJÖFORS a ring and see if they can tell me the sizes of their springs - seeing as they are recommended for both models, I won't be surprised if they are coupe spec. The only other option for cab front springs is Volvo @ £106 +VAT each.

Edit: Just spoke to LESJÖFORS uk, their springs are catalogued as the same code for the coupe and cabriolet-

4095832 front 442mm
4295847 rear 432mm

That front spring size is the coupe spec, the rear is correct for the cab but not the coupe.

Today I measured the distance between: tires (tread) and wheel arch. I took a long straight flat metal bracket, eyeing it at the highest point of the tire and pulling it out of the fender. So with a ruler I measured precise distance:

Distancw between tyre/arch:
Front wheels 5cm
Rear wheels 2.5cm

I have front + rear Key springs.
But i have front Koni Special Active (new and after install cars is more tall at front) and rear Sachs (is near as new bit not have force and with hands cars at rear low easy).
Ordered new rear Koni Special Active days ago.
If at rear not become 5cm as front i replace Kyb with original Volvo springs (i have stored).

Good morning. Yesterday I washed the original Volvo 1998 springs with a pressure washer and soap.

They seem very sturdy to me. I don't think they were to be replaced. I also believe that the current KYB K-Flex are stiffer than the originals, because although I now have new: Koni Special Active shock absorbers (as well as all the other new Volvo original parts) the car is too stiff. Maybe by putting the original springs back it becomes softer? The original springs were with the very bad Sachs, so I can't judge.
