Hi,

These are the instructions for the VEA d4 engine that I have. I substituted the special locking tool at the fuel pump, for a 6 mm drill bit, which fits perfectly and is enough to stop the pump turning in relation to the cam pulley.

Big note that no one has posted, or at least that I've read, is that the cambelt runs all the way round the engine mount, so you have to take the long dog bone stabiliser as well as the mount off. Other than this, it's just regular cam belt stuff, double checking, triple checking and checking again. I did the water pump also, while I was in, even though my dealer told me that they don't do them when the cambelt is done....

Enjoy
