No Upgrades
Hi,
I have a 2021 T6 Recharge XC60 purchased in March this year. I went to my local dealership today to ask if Polestar upgrade and the Pilot Assist was available for my car. They said the system doesn’t show any upgrades for my car, not even the polestar. Therefore there’s nothing they can do for me. Is this normal for a brand new model? You would have thought the T8 upgrade was the same for the T6 Recharge? Cheers Lee |

Hi Lee,
Your dealer was correct in that there's no Polestar upgrade for MY21 XC60s (yet). You CAN get Pilot Assist retrofitted, just not by itself. It's available as part of IntelliSafe Assist which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pilot Assist and Distance Alert. Yours for £1085. Details here:https://www.volvocars.com/uk/accesso...ModelYear=2021

Can you confirm if PA is already factory-fitted and you were just looking for an upgrade?

Hi Destone,
I currently have intelisafe, BLIS, traffic sign recognition and lane keeping aid, so I’m hoping to upgrade this with the additional Adaptive Cruise Control and improved Lane Assist. Both options were discussed with the local dealer in Preston (Polestar and Pilot Assist) who put my vin number into the system and said there are no available retrofit or performance upgrades for my car. I wonder if it’s because the version “recharge” is new? Cheers Lee |
