Default D24T part numbers

Hi,

I'm looking for a list of part numbers for the various coolent hoses in the engine bay.
Ideally a diagram with part numbers....I need to replace the various hoses as they are gone brittle with age.
1989, 740, diesel...

Thanks.

Hi if you have no luck on this forum try the D 24.com forum .or your main dealer think FRF in south wales .
My engine is the later D24.Tic so there may be different set ups

The number for the lower hose is, apparently, 1257992.
That comes from ebay.com.
According to scandix this part has been discontinued, so you might have to get it from the US.
As you know there are differences between the T and Tic, but the part above is listed for both, whether this is correct or not I don't know.
I've seen posts about hoses on the d24 list at tufts.edu, some of their solutions have been interesting - one chap souced hoses and right angle from a tractor place (!).
A reasonable though expensive way of reducing the risk of blowout is to use Evans coolant, owing to the high boiling point the only pressure in the system is hydrostatic.
Didn't see the upper hose anywhere bit but will have a look through the books..

Try euspares.co.uk, they appear to have both upper and lower.

Hi all,

Thank you for the reply, the pipes that I've an issue are the small ones that are below the vacuum pump. I've attach a couple of pictures of how I got on today.
I managed to go a local motor factors and get suitably sized pipe to make a work around.

***not sure what wrong with fourm, not allowing me to attach pictures ‐ reson why I'm replacing and the Gates parts I substituted****
