Long Shot - Anyone here in vehicle movements?

Hi,

I`m in a bit of a situation. I`d arranged to have a 240 GL with no T&T picked up from Blackpool on Saturday, and delivered to Chesterfield. Unfortunatly, due to unforeseen circumstances, i`ve been let down by the bloke who was going to do it for me. Is anyone on these boards in the vehicle movements game, or has a tow car and trailer and fancies making a bit of money on Saturday?

Massive long shot, i know......but I can`t find anyone who will rent me a truck, I don`t have a licence to tow a trailer and I`m in Surrey Saturday morning!

Any help or advise appreciated.

Hi Rob, give this guy a ring, he is located in Derby and this is his line of work.
He recently brought me a 240 back from Leek to Derby for £40.

Try shiply.co.uk. I've had 3 cars moved via contacts made on that site, by 3 different tranporters and all did it quickly and at good prices.

Thanks guys. I`ve tried Shiply, and they did provide a good quote. The only issue I have is that I need to give the drive the cash to pay for the car too, and the shipley quotes were from drivers in Chorley & Blackpool......I`m in Chesterfield!
