Hi Simmy
It was one of these, so changed both On the 2.0d they will only sell you the full set of pipes, metal and rubber, so I found the longer rubber ones from the 1.6 was the same, so just cut it down to the length I needed to replace just the rubber. Iain

Same issue on Volvo c30 2.0
Just wanting to post here to thank you all for this thread.
We have a c30 2.0 with the same issue. We were told by our mechanic that we would need to order part 30750461, replacing the entire unit. Beyond cost, the main issue was that this would need to be ordered from Sweden, taking 5-10 days. We didn't have the time to wait as we were off on a driving holiday the next week, and had not factored a rental car into our costings (also, husband was not keen to rent a Fiat Tipo :P) With the help of a friend who repairs his own vehicles, we replaced the rubber hose only with part 31431138. As access was difficult, our friend removed the whole unit, replaced the hoses and reinstalled. Images below: https://imgur.com/a/eoDlmFS Fingers crossed no issues on our drive! Thanks again for sharing this information IainG! |
