Just a quick update before I head off to catch my flight, welded the one side this morning, one root weld and two cap welds to blend it in to match. Not quite finished and have a little more filing to do to get it right.

Back at the workshop last night, took down the parts I sprayed, they look good and then welded on the upper shock mount reinforcement pad on the NS, will grind it up tonight.

An enjoyable night, Dave and I assembled the new front hub assemblies. Brake lines etc to make up tomorrow night. Things have been slow on the Amazon front as I have a big project at our cottage and been away studying and working.

I actually thought they'd come with new ones but had to use the old dented ones.

Are those new calipers? Or have you re-finished them yourself Mitch?

Reconditioned ones from Brookhouse, look like a really good job. He said they are done in Sweden I think.

Not been working too much on the car lately as have been building stone dykes and a paved terrace at our cottage but plodding along when I have a little free time.

Darren and I wheeled up the new tailgate skin as it's too big to do by myself, turned out a treat. I made up a repair for the inner tailgate structure and will attach the skin to the inner once I can get access to the tailgate on the car. Currently putting in the reconditioned front suspension, brakes etc. Still have much to get on with.

Dave will be moving his Amazon to his new garage soon so that will free up some room for a metal shaping area and a woodstove which will be fantastic for winter.
