universal joints, what else?
I have awful vibration from rear end at low speed 15 - 20 mph and a clunking sound going on and off power vibration also seems worse going up hills. im going to change out the universal joints and was wondering if there was anything else worth doing while presumably the prop shaft is off. dont want to go mad just essentials.
iIf this fails to help whats next likely candidate? edit:1965 122s b18 |

maybe change the centre bearing and boot, if it needs it.. considering you wont have to do this for another few years, it's worth doing it all at once..
i wish i had, when i changed my UJ's... Last edited by redcar; May 26th, 2011 at 18:53. |

I'd second changing the centre bearing...not sure which u have but definitely worth it when the prop is off. Make sure you keep the 2 halves of the prop orientated when you take it apart. The UJ can be a real pain in the bum to get out, good luck.
