Default D5 t5 intercooler what's the best ?

Hi I have previously had problems with coolers before on my d5's . The once I Put new one on from euro car parts, didn't last very long, I do have a bit of a lead foot to say the least

I recently got told the t5 coolers hold more boost pressure is this just rubbish ?

I don't need a map sensor seen as my car is 2002 and its situated on the inlet manifold.

I do have other coolers just don't realy want have to fabricate it to fit

Also are there any updated intercoolers of the newer d5 engines that would fit

Many thanks

they would all benefit from a brace band.

The stainless strap bands that hold signs to posts 0 if you could get a long one and fit it real tight vertically in the center -- it would stop them from bowing and splitting

The T5 has around 12psi as stock, I'm not sure about the D5 but I think its about twice that so no easy wins there.

If you get on T5D5 then a fair few people have fitted very durable high performance coolers, that may be worth a look.
