P1800es

Has anyone viewed the P1800ES currently for sale in Leicester, on ebay and here. Would seem to be solid but in need of recommissioning. Too far away for me to view personally but would appreciate any comments from someone who's seen it.

Some work has been done on the car credit where it’s needed , states in listing all welding had been done ( but always check the common areas on viewing )

I feel it is a good car needs some TLC with a few jobs like the rear middle bumper section , front grilles surround , wheel embellish rings added but the expensive part is sorting the front seats out so back to full health at quick glance of images displayed by the seller 😎👍

On the whole not a bad car just needs some attention nothing to scary but great car to gain entry into the 1800 world to dip your toes or if your like some of us can really appreciate the cars for what they are remember they are a sports estate one of the best shapes in my view I would be proud to own & drive one plus it’s in Red most like the colour it suits them aswell as other colours sadly under rated by some but amazing cars non the less .

Hope it finds a great new owner soon that will take care of it , the car will then take that owner on many miles with a big smile on their face ! 😎👍

Too far away to view unfortunately, was hoping maybe someone knew the car. Otherwise it could be a very expensive gamble. Would have liked to have seen pics of the rebuild but nothing much forthcoming when I asked the seller.

If your serious about the car maybe some one local to the area can call by to view and inspect it that know the cars to help showing key images to assure you all is well ( FaceTime even to walk around the car in detail )

Also ask the owner and check any available images from the restoration/work carried out ?

If it helps I can offer my service maybe run up one weekend for a drive not a million miles away need to give a few cars a run 262c and P1800s or just jump in my work van cover my fuel ⛽️ and glad to help a fellow volvo enthusiast out , or I can go under my professional hat to give a detailed breakdown whats wrong what’s good , and assist in getting the car at a fair price ( haggle ) for you ? Thanks for that offer, Robert. The ebay auction ends Tuesday so not leaving much time. If it doesn't sell straight away I'll take you up on that, thanks.
I asked for photos of the work and got one pic of the car in a spray booth. But it looked to be chrome off, glass out etc so maybe a decent job.
