Default D5 intercooler blown

Anyone used the intercoolers off eBay...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-XC90...item43c5e227bd

Comes with 2 year warranty, mines the 2003 d5, it mentions it has a sensor hole, I take it mines will have a sensor hole?

If your MAP sensor isn't on top of the engine by the oil filler, it'll be in the intercooler out pipe.

No problem.
Just post a pic of the top of your engine and I'll confirm which intercooler you need.

Mine is a very early (February) 03 car and the map sensor is in the inter cooler. I bought a replacement inter cooler from ebay (seller was cool parts UK) and it's been fine.

If you can take a picture of the right hand side of the cluster of radiator's, we'll be able to see the sensor, or not, whatever the case may be. And don't listen to cheshired5, we don't think you're a melon.

A bit of a Lemon maybe, but not a Melon. 😁

We'll skin the cat another way.
Here's my engine.
The MAP sensor is housed on the engine, circled in red so I would need an intercooler without the sensor hole.
If you have nothing in the same circled area, your MAP sensor is housed in the i/c out pipe so you need an intercooler with a sensor hole.
Please don't tell me you don't have a red circle on your engine.

Mine only has 1 red circle, and its the one at the bottom of your picture. It doesn't have the one at the top.
