Also, what towbar have you got?
Included with the sensus connect I believe - but may need to clarify. It certainly isn't an option extra. I thought it was a bit gimmicky but we've actually used it quite a lot! Shuts off while driving of course.

Tow bar is the fixed swan neck Volvo OEM one which I seem to recall is a thule bar anyway.

Have you tried Poor Boys black hole glaze out of interest.

Ive heard good things about AF tripple, just waiting for all my other polishes to finish before i invest again.

I must admit though PB BH Glaze, topped with FK1000 and a a few squirts of Sonax BSD as a drying aid, has kept my saville grey XC looking great for over 10k miles since september, well chuffed with that combo, pity it only stays clean for a bout 10 mins in this weather.

No havnt tried any poor boys stuff yet - I've heard the natty product is good stuff?

I used to be hooked on meguiars so havnt tried many others. Chemical guys is another I havn't tried.

Got some good results with some Autobrite products - loads of great stuff out there!!

I used to be one of those detailing geeks and i spent far too much on kit back in the day, and its still going, sadly since marriage and kids, the detailing hobbie is no longer.

Its amazing how much its moved on, some of the ceramic sealants and what not, are amazing now, i think once my current crop of waxes and polishes finish, i'll be investing some synthetic stuff, but i cant see my stash finishing for a year or three lol

Yeah I'm the same - although despite wife and kids, I've tried to keep couple of hours on a Sunday - usually just a chill day anyway.

Havnt tried a ceramic sealer yet - I know auto finesse have one called Tough Coat....
