Its got new tires on it , but damn everything else im sure is old. dang talk about costly. Why would i want to change the brake pads? , if they still have a lot of meat on them? (i didint look) just guessing. In another post i mentioned working at a volvo dealership (years ago) doing light mechanical work. oil changes , tires , grunt work. does volvo reccomend a new timming belt when you reach a certain mileage? broke one in a honda before , and remember the bill being over $2k. when the belt broke , it also bent valves and someother things. Now im not so sure about the particular car? im still in the mood for a T5 , just might pay a visit to the local dealership first. thanks for the info mike

sidenote: I met Rossi , and we talked in the pits at laguna. awesome guy. very friendly this guy is. so Rossi-fan you must ride? maybe a yamaha? Also how much is gas in the U.K? At my current location gas is around $3.85 gallon
4.5 liters to a UK gallon, at around £1.35/litre, as said above, that makes it ~£6.30/gallon. I believe a US gallon is ~3.8 litres, but still much cheaper per gallon than in the UK.
