LPG system for B230K

Hi all,

I have for sale a complete LPG kit which was taken from a 740 with a B230K. It's a mixer system, with a cylinder tank. I have a second cylinder tank available, too. The 740 ran quite happily on gas before it was stripped for parts.

As far as I'm aware everything is there, and everything works....but I would assume now that it's "for experimentation" only.

£100 ono? I paid quite a bit more for it, but I'd rather see someone get some use out of it.

Is the system Single or Multi Point injection? And do you still have it ?

Bump. Anyone interested in this?

I no longer have either of the tanks, and the changeover switch is currently AWOL (although I know it's in the house, and will be located before sale, obviously), but I would consider an offer on the system. You'd just need a tank (which are cheap on eBay). Having unearthed the kit, I don't think there's anything much wrong with it - I think I was being pretty conservative when I said it was "for experimentation".

Hi John,

No, I still have it. I had someone enquiring a few weeks ago with a view to fitting it to an 850R, but I haven't heard back. It's ready to go for a 2.5 20v, and would only require minor work for a different 5-pot. I bought it for my S70 (2.5 20v), but was going to fit it to the V70R, so all things are possible.

I sold it to John a few days ago Dave. Would have been funny to see it on the car it was intended for! Curiously, he was telling me he's having exactly the same "oil control" issues as yours...his being a 2.5 10v.

I nearly sold this last year, but the buyer decided they wanted a particular brand. The electronics are Lovato branded. I found the change-over switch today, so it's good to go!

Any interest?
