Recall for missing leisure key

When our MY21.5 turned up in Feb this year, I assumed that the lack of leisure key was just another cost-cutting example compared to our previous MY18.5.

I enquired with the dealer through the lease broker and never really got a clear answer so assumed it was just a spec delete. Others on the forum at that time said that they had received leisure keys, but I thought no more of it.

I’d forgotten about this until the car went in the other week (that will be another thread post!!) and I was advised that there was a recall, to provide me with a leisure key, apparently a batch of cars were issued without them due to lack of parts.

I had to take the normal and care keys in so that all three could be programmed together. All done, easy fix and now have a leisure key, which occasionally proved useful with the last car.

So if you had car built around November - January 21 and only got two keys, worth asking.
