How to remove front head restraint from S90?

Despite trawling youtube and internet I just can't find out how to remove the head rest (restraint) from the front seats of our S90 (registered Dec 2018). I want to put seat covers over the easy to mark cream leather.

Nearest info I could find was a button at base of X90 that released the square bars of the head rest. No info in the maual that I could see either, or in the car's computer. I've even removed the hard plastic back of the seat, but none the wiser. There's got to be a way??
