Default Lifting V70 on 4 Axle Stands?

I'm replacing all 4 brake hoses this weekend.

Is it OK to lift the car on 4 axle stands (one on each corner), so I can have all 4 wheels off at the same time while doing the job?

I have two pairs - both 2 ton/pair.

I've read/heard varying/conflicting advice.

Ground will be level concrete.

Thanks,

Mark

Can't see why not.
If you're lifting high then don't do the full height on the first stand, you'll have to stagger it and increase height in stages but if you're only wanting the wheels just off the ground for removal then it's pretty straightforward to use all four.
Just be very careful and look for any stands tilting when jacking up.
Leave the jack in place and place the wheels under the sills for extra backup.

Yep, just removing wheels - no need for height.

Thanks.

2 ton barely adequate mine are 6 ton and I would not completely trust them. Make sure your base is solid - on asphelt the whole issue will gradually penetrate - use thick plywood or composite board to spread the weight. Also the ground needs to be truly level otherwise one corner is bearing the most weight and in a tight spot this could let you down,

All went fine. 1-ton axle stand on each corner, OE scissor jack on one sill, 4-ton bottle jack on the other sill, plus wheels placed under the car. I'd have no qualms about doing the same again.

The only work I did actually under the car was try (and fail ) to locate the clutch slave cylinder - all other work was attempting to free off brake hoses, from sitting beside the car.
