Default TFT retrofit

Hi all
I have just bought a second hand TFT from a 2015 S60 D3 and want to fit it in my 2014 S60 D2. I plugged it in and only the gear change indicator and fuel gauge work. The fuel gauge is working back to front. Apart from that the screen is blank.
Will Vdash coding sort this out? I would have thought that there would have been more functionality from the start or have I bought a faulty TFT?
Any help would be appreciated

Unlikely to work without coding. I used to drive Audis where you could not change any components (not even a simple CD drive) without recoding, with some only possible by the dealership. This is done to prevent theft.
Assuming you're second hand panel is compatible, I think you probably need a visit to the dealership to encode it.
Cheers

I’m new to volvo’s myself but think this deffo needs coding via Vdash.

I don’t know if you have previously seen this guide ?

Quite normal for the side clusters to work after a fashion, but the TFT won't even turn on until coded via VDash in my experience.

Definately needs coding using Vdash. Also, check if you need the two extra wires from the ODB connector.
