See the latest below from Volvo cars support site re the tyre noise.

As you can read they have passed the question on to the experts, well at least that is something , more than we received from Volvo UK customer service.

On Tuesday our car is going in for the updates and we have the use of both the demo cars from the dealer so that we can compare the ride to ours. One car rides on 21" wheels and the other is a 19"wheels therefore we should get a result one way or the other.

We were going to test drive the XC90 on the various wheels tomorrow when Our car was planned to go in for warranty work and the update. But Our Volvo dealer phoned that the spare parts to replace our drivers side door indicator has not arrived from Sweden as yet and will be least an other week before it arrives.
Typical !

Your driver's door side indicator is bust already? They really don't make 'em like they used to.

I have yet to take delivery of my T8 end of February, but what I do know if that I had Conti's on my A5 as well and the noise they created (after a bit of wear) was ridiculous. Currently running on Michelins and the difference is very noticeable!
