hi folks just thought i'd share this cheap mod with you - been playing around with few leds but couldnt find the right ones

then this

got them from good ol' ultra leds

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/ultimate-...ds-p-1669.html

4 of the above for the dials plus 2 of each of these for the clock and odometer

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/cool-white-5000-p-2069.html

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/single-re...ger-p-140.html

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/286t-part...ded-p-852.html

i quite like the result?

regards

Not a silly question at all!

Normally the numbers look green with normal bulbs due to a blueish filter on the dials.

You might say 'well why not use blue LEDs ?'

by using White means the needles still light up properly as if you were to use blue (tried it) the orange blocks the blue

the kit is designed to slide over the needles. bit tricky, the fuel and temp was the worst, but didnt take long. got the kit from streetracerparts.com
