I'm guessing you mean this one Andrew, as it is the only 244 for sale:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194912985...oAAOSwPsdiLlRj

... it is a manual, a DL and a different colour - but otherwise similar I suppose.

I think this is a nice car apart from the colour, but the biggest factor agin it will be the location (Penzance) - maybe a pirate will buy it :-). It seems like about the right price for an historic motor car like that.

Alan

PS. I've just watched the You Tube video, it looks like a nice enough motor car for the money. I thought to myself during the video that one could have bought that motor car for £500 a decade or two ago, and now it is £4,500... progress :-).

Ah yes! I must have missed that one.

It is quite similar to the RB, a GLE (so has FI) but the same year, colour similar mileage and condition. It looks like a really nice motor car, £5,000 sounds like about the going rate for a nice historic vehicle 244.

:-)

Potentially less electrickery as well as the RB has electronic ignition and (as there's no mention of it) i presume this one is still on points and condensor.

Suitable for use in a post-EMP blast situation!

Good idea Alan, protect your electronics!

Who knows what Putin might try next? There are already internet rumours he caused the crash of the Chinese Boeing 737 that went into a near vertical dive for less than a minute from 29000ft to oblivion in a deserted part of China.

True but the other rumours are the USA caused it as a warning to China if they sided with Russia!

The worrying thing about conspiracy theories is the amount of them that have turned out to be true. Granted many have been debunked and proven not true but the fact many are true is scary.
