  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think its just as simple as software to enable it. I think there's some wiring involved too. Either a dealer or Volvo specialist would be your best bet, or maybe an auto electrician. Your car is too old for VDASH. It'll be VIDA.
My V70 is an 'S' and it has cruise. I would have thought if it has the buttons then it was fitted - maybe something has gone wrong and the cruise has disabled itself....

It didn't have the buttons on the original steering wheel, but the wiring for cruise was there. The original poster bought a new steering wheel with the cruise button on, as the original wheel was worn and had no cruise button.

It needs to be programmed by a dealer or specialist for it to actually function. I can only assume the car had the basics, but it was never hooked up/programmed to begin with (hence why cruise never worked).
